Fritzi Scheff, vocalist and actress, was born 30 August 1879 in Vienna and died 8 April 1954 in New York.
Summary
Scrapbook containing clippings and printed ephemera documenting the stage career and personal life of Austrian-born soprano Fritzi Scheff. Materials document Scheff's roles in opera and musical productions during the first two decades of the twentieth century, including Victor Herbert's Mlle. Modiste, which premiered in 1905 at the Knickerbocker Theatre in New York City.
