Biographical / Historical Note
Patricia Zimmer Thompson (1925-2013) was born 30 December 1925, in Tampa, Florida, to Albert William and Helen Curran Zimmer. Thompson attended the Sunset Hill School in Kansas City, Missouri, Vassar College, and Stanford University, where she studied economics and French Renaissance history. She returned to Kansas City to work at the Federal Reserve Bank.
