Biographical / Historical Note
Kay Ketteman (1903-1989) was a journalist and television personality at public broadcasting stations in Buffalo, New York. She hosted early educational programs that focused on children's activities.
Summary
Three scrapbooks belonging to Kay Ketteman documenting her time spent working on children's shows in Buffalo, New York, including Let's Have a Party on WGR-TV and Let's Have a Hobby on WNED-TV. The scrapbooks contain circa 460 black and white photographs, circa 215 items of printed ephemera, circa 187 letters, and other material relating to children's television programs that Ketteman hosted. Also includes photographs, letters, and documents relating to a women's talk show Ketteman hosted called Today with Kay; and her involvement with American Women in Radio and Television, Inc.
