11 autograph letters and two typescript letters, signed, from Edward Albee to Larry Lingle. Albee discusses the death of his partner, Jonathan Thomas; his plays, including At Home at the Zoo and Seascape; playwrights, including Howard Moss and Lanford Wilson; the book trade and book collectors; and more. Albee also provides a critique of Mart Crowley's 1968 play The Boys in the Band.
