Adam Van Doren (1962-) is an American artist. He has been a visiting artist at the American Academy in Rome, a Lustman Fellowship Lecturer at Yale University, and an instructor at the Institute for Classical Architecture.

Includes watercolor illustrations and descriptions of Wheatland, James Buchanan's home in Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Walkers Point, George Bush's home in Kennebunkport, Maine; Prairie Chapel Ranch, George W. Bush's home in Crawford, Texas; Jimmy Carter's home in Plains, Georgia; Calvin Coolidge's home in Plymouth, Vermont; Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's home in Charlottesville, Virginia; John F. Kennedy's family homes in Brookline and Hyannis Port, Massachusetts; Franklin D. Roosevelt's home in Hyde Park, New York; Sagamore Hill, Theodore Roosevelt's home in Oyster Bay, New York; Harry Truman's home in Independence, Missouri; Martin Van Buren's home in Kinderhook, New York; George Washington's home in Mount Vernon, Virginia; and Woodrow Wilson's home in Washington, D.C. Also includes a letter containing watercolor illustrations and descriptions of the White House. Illustrations were published in Van Doren's book The House Tells the Story: Homes of the American Presidents (Boston: Godine, 2015).
