Yaqūlu al-bāʼis al-faqīr Muḥammad al-madʻū bi-Sājiqlī Zādah, akramahu Allāh subḥānuhu bi-al-falāḥ wa-al-saʻādah: Hādhihi Risālah fī fann al-munāẓarah, ʻamiltuhā laka yā walad wa-li-amthālika al-mubtadiʼīn, bāraka Allāh fīhā laka wa-li-man arādahā ghayraka. Wa-hādhā al-fann lā shakka fī istiḥbāb taḥṣīlih, wa-innamā al-shakk fī wujūbih kifāyah. Wa-al-munāẓarah fī al-ʻurf hiya al-mudāfaʻah li-yaẓhara al-ḥaqq ..."
البداية: "بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم، وبه نستعين. بسم الله وبحمده، وصلوةٌ وسلامٌ على رسله. يقول البائس الفقير محمد المدعو بساجقلي زاده، أكرمه الله سبحانه بالفلاح والسعادة: هذه رسالة في فنّ المناظرة، عملتها لك يا ولد ولأمثالك المبتدئين، بارك الله فيها لك ولمن أرادها غيرك. وهذا الفنّ لا شكّ في استحباب تحصيله، وإنّما الشكّ في وجوبه كفاية. والمناظرة في العرف هي المدافعة ليظهر الحقّ ..."

Summary
"Risālah fī fann al-munāẓarah", also called: "al-Risālah al-Waladīyah", "al-Risālah al-Waladīyah fī ādāb al-baḥth wa-al-munāẓarah", and "Risālah fī fann al-munāẓarah", a treatise on the rules, manners and etiquette of research and debates and debating, by Muḥammad ibn Abī Bakr al-Marʻashī Sājaqlīʹzādah (died 1737), a prolific scholar, teacher, Ṣūfī and Ḥanafī faqīh, from the city of Marʻash (Maraş, Turkey), who traveled to Damascus (Syria) where he met the well-known Ṣufī scholar ʻAbd al-Ghanī al-Nābulusī (1641-1731) and became a ṣufī, he returned to Marʻash, where he taught until his death. Name of copyist and place and date of copying not mentioned, probably from the 18th century.
