Biographical / Historical Note
A. Conger Goodyear (1877-1964) (Yale 1899) succeeded his father, Charles W. Goodyear, as director of the Buffalo Academy of Fine Arts in 1912 and was appointed the first president of the Museum of Modern Art in 1929.
