Binding: Bound in wooden boards (0.8 cm thick) with deteriorated cloth spine; the two boards are split, bored on both sides, and fastened with threads that go through the holes; the back board is in two different pieces of wood; the codex is incased within brown cardboard with brown ribbons on both sides for closing; a sticker on the case has the number "A. 195 156".
In clear East Syriac script, in black ink, on cream color paper; headings in red; the last leaf is torn (only one third of it remains).
On folio 1a: Scribbles.
On folio 1b: An oval purple stamp: "MISSON LIBRARY NO. 47 OROOMIAH".
On the sticker on the front cover: Number "137".
On the sticker on the back cover: Number "A. 195 156".
At the end of page 160 which marks the end of the first part (end of the 25th poem), the following statement: "Sríṭ bi-yad Mār Gabriyel d-atrā d-Baz [?]" (Written in the hand of Mar Gabriyel of the region of Baz [?]". It is not clear if this is the name of the copyist or an owner.
