Father O'Keefe (also O'Keeffe, or O'Keef), S.J. taught philosophy at the Université de Rennes in the 1750s.
Summary
Manuscript notebooks, in an unidentified hand, containing notes from a philosophy course on logic and André Dubuisson-Desrouvray given by Father O'Keefe, S.J. at the Université de Rennes in 1750. Includes eight prints depicting: portraits of philosophers, including Confucius, Diogenes, Thales, and others; an allegory of Logic; the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ; and diagrams of logical arguments.
