The manuscript starts with the table of contents of the invocations and prayers (folios 1b-3a), as follows: "al-Ḥamdu lillāh. Bayān mā taḥaṣṣala bi-hādhihi al-safīnah al-mubārakah min al-adʻiyah wa-al-aḥzāb wa-ghayr dhālik, naḍman [naẓman] wa-nathran, ḥasbamā huwa marqūm hunā, wa-ʻadaduhu 70; awwal dhālika duʻāʼ li-Abī Ṭālib al-Makkī ʻalá Asmāʼ Allāh al-Ḥusná ..."
تبدأ المخطوطة بفهرس المحتويات (الورقات 1ب3-أ)، كما يلي: "الحمد لله. بيان ما تحصل بهاذه السفينة المباركة من الأدعية والأحزاب وغير ذلك، نضمًا [نظمًا] ونثرًا، حسبما هو مرقوم هنا، وعدده 70؛ أول ذلك دعاء لأبي طالب المكي على أسماء الله الحسنى ..."
