Summary
A leaf pasted to a piece of cardboard, on which is written, in a crude West-African Arabic script, what seems to be a text (with drawings) of an Islamic amulet, for magical and protection purposes. The text includes verses from the Qurʼān, blessings upon the Prophet Muḥammad and his family, and the names of the letters of the Arabic alphabet (in the form of Abjad, Hawwaz, etc.) with their numerical values. Name of copyist and place and date of copying not mentioned, probably from the 18th century. On the verso of the cardboard a leaf is pasted which bears an illegible note.
