Summary
Five manuscript cuttings, on parchment and paper, related to the topic of geography and topography. First cutting contains chapter 51 of a 13th-century manuscript of Bede's De rerum natura, on the dimensions of Europe, Afrida, and Asia. Second cutting is a printed diagram of a sphere taken from an unidentified edition of Iohannes De Sacro Bosco's De Sphaera. Also includes four manuscript maps depicting the area of Lorraine (France), and the Moselle river. Cuttings used by Pierre-Camille Le Moine in his "Etat des sciences et des arts en Lorraine" to demonstrate the history of geography in Lorraine (cuttings 44-46).
