Incipit: The beginning is missing. Text starts as follows: "... Innī asʼaluka min khayr mā taʻlam wa-aʻūdhu bika min sharr mā taʻlam wa-astaghfiruka min kull mā taʻlam, innka taʻlam wa-lā naʻlam, wa-Anta ʻallām al-ghuyūb. Allāhumma irḥamnī min zamānī hādhā wa-iḥdāq al-fitan wa-taṭawul ahl al-jurʼah ʻalayya wa-istiḍʻāfuhum īyāy. Allāhumma ijʻalnī minka fī ʻiyādhin manīʻ wa-ḥirzin ḥaṣīn ..."
البداية مفقودة. يبدأ النص كما يلي: "... إنّي أسألك من خير ما تعلم وأعوذ بك من شرّ ما تعلم وأستغفرك من كلّ ما تعلم، إنّك تعلم ولا نعلم، وأنت علّام الغيوب. اللهمّ ارحمني من زماني هذا وإحداق الفتن وتطوّل أهل الجرأة عليَّ واستضعافهم إيّاي. اللهمّ اجعلني منك في عياذٍ منيع وحرزٍ حصين ..."

In large good naskh script, in black and red ink, on thick white paper; text fully vocalized; some leaves seem to be missing; catchwords.
Colophon: No colophon. Text ends abruptly, as follows: "... Allāhumma bi-barakat al-ṣalāh ʻalayhi ijʻalnā bi-al-ṣalāh ʻalayhi min al-fāʼizīn, wa-ʻalá ḥawḍihi min al-wāridīn al-shāribīn, wa-bi-sunnatihi wa-ṭāʻatihi min al-ʻāmilīn, wa-lā taḥil baynanā wa-baynahu Yawm al-Qiyāmah ..."
الخاتمة: لا يوجد خاتمة. ينتهي النصّ فجأةً، كما يلي: "... اللهمّ ببركت الصلوة عليه اجعلنا بالصلوة عليه من الفائزين، وعلى حوضه من الواردين الشاربين، وبسنته وطاعته من العاملين، ولا تحل بيننا وبينه يوم القيامة ..."
