Biographical / Historical Note
Reverend Myron Eells (1843-1907), youngest son of Reverend Cushing Eells, was missionary to Indians at Skokomish.
Summary
Written in pencil on the backs of various letters and scraps of paper, the notes describe the North west Pacific Indians' loom, spinning wheel, snowshoes, combs, fishing implements, dyes, and their use of plants, birds, and animals.
