Summary
The Dulwich College Papers consist of the Alleyn Papers, which document the life of Edward Alleyn, actor and founder of Dulwich College; selected papers of Dulwich college; muniments; and court rolls of Dulwich, 1323-1757. The papers of Alleyn and his father-in-law Philip Henslow concern early English drama and the English stage, while additional material relates to Alleyn's founding of Dulwich College, sometimes called the College of God's Gift at Dulwich, and the early history of the college.
