Summary
The collection consists of manuscripts from the archives of the Marquess of Bath and documents relating to the manuscripts. Included are miscellaneous manuscripts 5, 6, 8, 10, 21, 22, 23, and 25; a Catalogue and index to the miscellaneous manuscripts at Longleat (dated 1864); and a description of various manuscripts entitled "Miscellaneous Collection of MS. Books etc. having no apparent connection with the Main Collection at Longleat, followed by an appendix of five volumes of Correspondence and Papers belonging to the following collections: Coventry, Seymour, Portland, Miscellaneous."
