Summary
Circular embroidered map on linen depicting Europe, with parts of Asia and Africa. Identifies countries, islands, bodies of water, and major cities. Text, graticule, and lines of longitude and latitude are embroidered in black. Country borders, coasts, and rivers are embroidered in a variety of colors, possibly with silk floss. Title and date enclosed in a border of leafy branches done in green, brown, and white. Small red flowers border the fabric. Fabric is stained, particularly along the edges, and several of the lines of longitude and latitude have been broken.
