Summary
Manuscript on paper, in a secretary hand, of an English translation of the Catalan allegorical romance El Deseoso (1515). The manuscript, probably of recusant origin, is untitled and anonymous, as is the "Proeme," which is written in a different hand and precedes the text. ("Grete knowledge is certis a grete shame.")
