Script: Written by a single scribe in neat sloping italic; notes and corrections in several later hands.
Two gold initials, 5- and 4-line, of indifferent quality on ff. 1r and 29v, embedded in white vine ornament extending into margins on green, red, and blue grounds, decorated with white dots; gold dots and brown hair-spray. On f. 1v, a coat of arms, unidentified (per pale, azure, a bend or with 3 stars of the field, between 2 fleur-de-lis or; gules, a lion rampant argent, overall a bendlet vert), supported by two putti, set in a panel of white vine ornament, as above. 2-line initials, gold or blue, throughout.
Binding: Nineteenth century. Edges gilt. Blue goatskin, gold-tooled by Ramage.
