Notes
Script: Written in gothic textura by a single scribe, who listed the authors quoted in the margins and added occasional running headings. Marginal and interlinear notations by several later hands.
Initials, probably added in the Netherlands (between 1450 and 1500), 6- to 3-line, edged in black, filled with blue or red, with white filigree spirals, against square or cusped red or blue grounds, with white highlights, edged in black, often with black hairspray at corners. Paragraph marks and intermittent underlining, in red, throughout.
Binding: Eighteenth century. Calf with gold-tooled spine.
