Conditions Governing Access
All materials have been designated by GLAD as either "public" or "work-product." Work-product materials are classified as such according to the "work-product doctrine", which protects from legal discovery processes any materials which were prepared by GLAD lawyers or the parties they represent as part of litigation or trial preparation.
All materials identified as "work-product" include that phrase in the title. The public documents have no restrictions, and include all materials which do not have "work-product" in the title.
Work-product files are restricted until January 1, 2043. Researchers must receive permission in writing from GLAD to access work-product materials.
