The Granados originally for solo piano, the Moszowski originally for piano 4 hands. The optional solo tenor & chorus parts in Liszt's Faust Symphony, which were later additions, are omitted.

Originally issued on 33 1/3 rpm analog discs: English Decca LXT 2889, LXT 5333, LXT 5348, LXT 5101--LXT 5102, SXL 2009, SXL 2015, SXL 2020, SXL 2029, & SXL 2097; most of these were also issued in the U.S. on the London label.
Program notes about the conductor by Alan Sanders in English, French & German, with discographical details, laid in container.
Recorded between 1953 & 1957 for English Decca (his Spanish Decca recordings, of zarzuelas, are not included here). Dates & locations are given in program booklet. The Debussy, Albéniz, Turina & both Liszt works were recorded only in mono, the remainder in stereo.
