Summary
Contains autograph letters, signed, from Joseph Hergesheimer to various individuals and drafts of writings by Hergesheimer. Correspondents are James Babb, Curtis Brown, Gelett Burgess, John Fanar, James Huneker, and Sidney and Dorothea Withington. Writings include a bound typescript of the play Cytherea (1923), a bound autograph manuscript of the essay George Moore (1923), a typescript of the short story Changu (undated), and a typescript dedicatory note from Hergesheimer to Carl Van Vechten for A Portrait in Alabaster (1947).
