Comprises the second half of the author's Theologica mystica, written on Mount Alverno and published in full in 1538. Written originally in Dutch, it was printed in 1501, then translated into other languages. This anonymous Italian translation was first published in Venice in 1522 and went through several subsequent editions. Cf. Catholic Encyclopedia, v. 7, p. 293-294.
