Biographical / Historical Note
Carl Gustaf af Forsell was a pioneer for the use of steam power in Sweden, establishing the first steamship company in Sweden and campaigning for steam on rails. He traveled to England to study the railroad and made a trip on the Liverpool and Manchester Railway.
