Printed in Paris in November or December 1970 by the Imprimerie du Trocadéro with false imprint: Lisbon, Christmas, MCMXL. Cf. Barker, N. Butterfly books, p. 173 and p. 210.
The original t.p. with imprint "Lisbon, Christmas, MCMXL" has been cancelled with t.p. having imprint "Paris, Christmas, MCMLXX."
"Of this poem, nine hand-illustrated copies were printed: two on old Florentine paper, numbered 1 and 2; two on old Castilian paper, numbered I and II; two on old French paper, numbered a and b; two on old Flemish paper, numbered A and B; and one on old Portuguese parchment, numbered X"--Colophon.
