For the 1971 "Art and technology" exhibit at the Los Angeles Country Museum of Art, John Chamberlain submitted a questionnaire to the employees of the Rand Corporation. The questions and subsequent answers were mounted on the walls during the exhibition. Chamberlain later self-published this printed version of questions and excerpted responses for distribution to Rand employees.
"The Rand piece is constucted to be used by anyone or groups as far as the imagination or curiosity can carry it. All possibilities are considered to be valid at least by me"--P. [1].
