Script: Written in a loose Fraktur hand sloping a little to the right.
Watermarks: Watermarks in folds and cut, not identified.
Binding: Parchment over pasteboards, flat back, upper cover stamped "LIBER APOTHECAR: SECREAT: [then in blue-black ink:] 1807." Red edges to manuscript section, plain edges to printed section which is of smaller dimensions. Binding also described with the printed book, loc. cit.
