Summary
"This manual contains, for each chapter of the text, (a) a brief note to the instructor, (b) an array of multiple choice test items, (c) a list of essay questions, and (d) a list of readings that can be assigned to eager and/or bright students. The notes to the instructor are intended to give an idea of the author's strategy and tactics in trying to arrange, in each substantive and methodological segment of psychology, a meaningful learning experience for the student. Also these notes point out the topics that are neglected or only skimpily covered in the chapter. The idea and the hope behind these notes is that they may help the instructor articulate his teaching with the text in such a way that both the instructor and his students can derive the greatest satisfaction from the introductory course. Also, it may be true that by writing these little screeds the author is trying to battle a bit against the impersonality of the author-instructor relationship"--Book.
