A copy of the poll for knights of the shire for the county of Oxford / taken at Oxford on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 20th, 22d and 23d of April 1754, from the check-books of the clerks of Lord Wenman and Sir James Dashwood. Containing not only the names of the freeholders, their place of abode and freehold, but also the freehold on which they voted, and the occupier of it. Candidates: Right Hon. Lord Visc. Wenman, Sir James Dashwood, Bart., Right Hon. Lord Visc. Parker, Sir Edward Turner, Bart.

Notes
This is Poll book I, as described by R.J. Robson in his The Oxfordshire election of 1754, p. 101. According to Namier's House of Commons, the Tory candidates, Wenman and Dashwood, secured a majority, but a double return was made and the House seated the Whig or New Interest candidates, Parker and Turner.
