At head of text: Albericus vespucius Laurentio Petri de medicis salutem plurimam dicit.
At end: Ex italica in latinam linguam iocũdus interpres hãc epistolam vertit vt latinioẽs intelligant q̈[ue] multa mirãda in dies reperiant̃, [et] eo[rum] comprimatur audacia qui celũ et maiestatem scrutari et plus sapere q̈[ue] liceat sapere volunt: quando tanto tempore quo mundus cepit ignota sit vastitas terre [et] que contineãtur in ea.
