Summary
Summarizes provisions of Thrift Savings Plan Enhancement Act of 2009. Reviews automatic enrollment of Federal employees in the thrift savings plan (TSP), establishment of a Roth contribution program within TSP, authority to establish a mutual fund window, reporting requirements to Congress, acknowledgment of risk, subpoena authority, amounts in thrift savings funds subject to legal proceedings, accounts for surviving spouses, treatment of members of the uniformed services, and survivor indemnity for surviving spouses of members of the armed forces.
