Summary
Correspondence includes autograph letters, signed, to Jesse W. Weik, biographer, and to publishers Harper & Brothers and Benjamin Holt Ticknor, among others. One letter concerns Wallace's role in the Battle of Shiloh in the American Civil War. Other papers include an autograph manuscript draft of "Commodus: An Historical Play" and a photograph of Wallace.
