Summary
Collection of correspondence, writings, and other papers by and relating to English author Rudyard Kipling. The correspondence consists of letters, autograph manuscript and typescript, from Kipling to others, including Richard Watson Gilder, Henry Arthur Jones, Macmillan & Co., Brander Matthews, S. S. McClure, S. C. G. Watkins, and A. P. Watt. In addition, there are several drafts of poems by Kipling dating from 1890 through 1907, autograph manuscript and typescript, a signature clipped from an unidentified document, and a signed receipt.
