Text of letter: Enclosed herewith find a confirmation of our wire of even date. Numerous inquiries are being made at this office for permission to examine the township plats before the opening of the Walker Lake Indian Reservation, and as to whether they can make immediate filing. Finding no portion of our instructions that advise us on this poinht we accordingly wire for same.
Text of telegram: Regarding opening Walker Lake Indian Reservation do we ignore circular of October 21, 1885, 4th land decision, page 202 and receive homestead entries on and after October 29. Wire answer.
