Cover title.
"D. Bros & Co. Ltd, H." blind stamped on rear cover. There are no indications of responsibility within the text of the catalog, but it was likely issued by the prominent cloth merchants Dugdale Bros & Co., based in Huddersfield, England. One of the firm's most famous lines was named "The White Rose," and "White Rose" serges are advertised on the rear pastedow. A white rose of Yorkshire is also stamped on the front cover. It could be that the present copy was for in-house use only.
"Tailors and costumiers' linings and trimmings. Artificial silk linings, satin faced twill, fancy canvases, buttons, buckles, etc etc. Fur collars, fur ties, etc. etc. Illustrated booklet sent on request. Gent's linings and trimmings of all descriptions for the tailoring trade."--Inside of front cover.
