Summary
A manuscript cash book recording various estate expenses and income between 1775 and 1787 for Sir Armine Wodehouse (1714-1777) and then his heir Sir John Wodehouse (1741-1834) who inherited the property upon the death of his father in 1777. The monthly accounts include: wages to farm laborers (carpenters, farm workers, etc.) and household servants; rents from properties including Kimberly Hall; taxes and disbursements to charities; payments for or income from livestock (lambs, rabbits, horses, etc.) and crops and seeds, the sale of timber, and other estate related business.
