Binding: In brown leather binding; both covers embossed with central and corner medallions.
In good naskh script, in black ink on thick white aging paper with headings and markings in red; catchwords.
Armorial bookplate: "Ex bibliotheca serenissimae domus Saxo-Isenacensis."
Colophon: "Tammat tamām bi-ʻawn al-Malik al-Mannān. Katabahu afqar al-fuqarāʼ wa-khādim al-ṣulaḥā al-muḥtāj ilá raḥmat Allāh taʻālá aḍʻaf [al-ḍuʻafāʼ?] al-ʻabd al-faqīr Ibrāhīm Sardar Bān-i Ustānah-ʼi Bāb-i Humāyūn bi-Dar al-Salṭanah. Jará dhālika wa-ḥurrira fī awāʼil Rabīʻ al-Awwal min shuhūr sanat thamān wa-sabʻīn wa-tisʻ māʼ [miʼah]."
الخاتمة: "تمت تمام بعون الملك المنان. کتبه أفقر الفقراء وخادم الصلحا المحتاج إلى رحمة الله تعالى أضعف [الضعفاء؟] العبد الفقىر إبرهىم سردر بان استانۀ باب هماىون بدر السلطنة. جرى ذلك وحرر فى أوائل ربىع الأول من شهور سنة ثمان وسبعىن وتسع ماء [مائة]."
Translation of the colophon: "[The manuscript] was fully completed by the help of the Benevolent King. Copied by the poorest of the poor, the servent of the rightious, he who is in need of the mercy of God, May He be exalted, the weakest [of the weak?], the poor slave Ibrāhīm Sardar, the doorkeeper of the gate of the royal palace in the capital [Istanbul]. Written and completed at the beginning of Rabīʻ al-Awwal, 978 [H]."

A complete copy of the Qurʼān (missing folio 327), fully vocalized, copied at the beginning of Rabīʻ al-Awwal, 987 H (12 August, 1570) by Ibrāhīm Sardar, the doorkeeper of the gate of the royal palace (Bān-i Bāb-i Humāyūn) in Istanbul, Turkey.
