"Defence Cooperation between the ADF and the TNI has a solid legacy in many fields. Combined survey and mapping operations conducted under the Defence Cooperation Program in the 1970s and 1980s are a standout example of bilateral success. In this period the Australian and Indonesian Defence Forces cooperated to produce accurate mapping of much of Indonesia. The operations were led by the Royal Australian Survey Corps (RA Svy) and the Indonesian Army Topography Office (JANTOP), and supported by the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and Royal Australian Navy (RAN)"--Page 1.
