The first of two editions of the same year. The priority of this ed. was established by Alison Hanham, "The two editions of Grafton's Chronicle of John Hardying," in Bibliographical Society of Australia and New Zealand. Bulletin, no. 14 (v.4, no. 1), p. [17]-23.
At least two variants exist. In one variant, 204r line 1 begins "vncle." In the other variant 204r line 1 begins "whiche."
Black letter.
Prose "Continuation" is supposed to have been written by Richard Grafton.
