Documents include official handwritten correspondence, petitions, requests to purchase land, settlements and maps, mine registers, and other materials that document daily life and municipal administration in Baja, especially throughout the turbulent period including the Mexican-American War, 1846-1848 and the Mexican Revolution, 1910-1920.
