Summary
Soviet war drama about an orphaned boy adopted by a Russian artillery unit. Directed by Vasili Pronin and based on the novel by Valentin Kataev, this drama revolves around the life of Vanya Solntsev, a small orphan boy who is adopted by an artillery regiment after his family is killed during the Second World War. The last scene features a military parade through Red Square, and footage of Stalin waving.
