Summary
"Vincent Tiley and Bryson Rand have created a parallel between the mythic history of Indian Yellow pigment, a pigment falsely believed to have been made from cow urine. This publication shadows the coexistence of fact and myth in Queer histories and the oral accounts of the lives of cultural producers of the early Gay Liberation movement. Vincent collected urine and reduced it to form pigments which he used to create this body of work; Bryson photographed the process and some of the pieces and documents involved. This is a documentation of a year and half period developed and produced in New York and Fire Island"--Raw Meat Collective Web site, viewed November 27, 2018.
