Translation of the colophon: "The first part of al-Mawāhib al-ladunīyah bi-al-minaḥ al-Muḥammadīyah is completed. May the best of prayer and peace be upon the Prophet Muḥammad. It will be followed by the second part, which is the last part of the book, starting with the fifth chapter, God willing, on Isrāʼ and Miʻrāj [Night journey to Jerusalem]. May God pray on our Master Muḥammad, his family and his companions and grant them peace. Copied on the blessed day, the fifth of the noble and holy month of Ramaḍān, the year 1061 of the Hijrah of the Prophet [22 August 1651], may the best of prayer and peace be upon him. Written by the perishing hand of the weak and feeble servant, Aḥmad ibn al-marḥūm Ibrāhīm ibn Muḥammad ibn ʻAbd al-Salām al-Qarāfī al-Ṣiddīqī, may God forgive his sins and cover his shortcomings, in the two abodes [in this world and in the world to come]. May God also forgive him who finds a deficiency in the book and emends it, and him who looks into the book and beseech God to forgive and have mercy upon the copyist. Praise be to God alone."
