Qāla al-Faqīh al-Qāḍī al-Imām Abū al-Faḍl ʻIyāḍ ibn Mūsá ibn ʻIyāḍ al-Yaḥṣubī, raḍiya Allāh ʻanh: al-Ḥamdu lillāh al-munfarid bi-ismihi al-asmá, al-mukhtaṣṣ bi-al-mulk al-aʻazz al-aḥmá, alladhī laysa dūnahu muntahá, wa-lā warāʼahu marmá, al-ẓāhir lā takhayyulan wa-lā wahman, wa-al-bāṭin taqddusan lā ʻadman, wasiʻa kull shayʼ raḥmatan wa-ʻilaman, wa-asbagha ʻalá awliyāʼihi niʻaman ʻammā, wa-baʻatha fīhim rasūlan min anfusihim ..."

Binding: The 31 numbered quires of the manuscript are kept within a red leather cover with flap; cover and flap embossed with beautiful metallic medallion.
In good naskh script, in black ink, on white paper; headings in red, with some in green; catchwords.

On folio 1a: "Hādhā Matn al-Shifā bi-taʻrīf ḥuqūq al-Muṣṭafá, taʼlīf al-Imām al-ʻālim al-ʻallāmah, waḥīd dahrih wa-farīd ʻaṣrih, al-Qāḍī ʻIyāḍ, nafaʻanā Allāh bi-hi wa-bi-ʻulūmih. Āmīn. M."

Summary
"al-Shifā bi-taʻrīf ḥuqūq al-Muṣṭafá" (Healing in proclaiming the precepts of the Chosen One), a treatise on the life and deeds of the Prophet Muḥammad, by al-Qāḍī ʻIyāḍ ibn Mūsá al-Yaḥṣubī (1083-1149), a prolific Mālikī scholar and qāḍī (judge), from the town of Sabtah "Ceuta", now a Spanish possession on the northwest coast of Africa, located at the Mediterranean entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar. Name of copyist and place and date of copying not mentioned, probably from the 18th century.
