Robert Towne (1934-), American screenwriter, producer, director, and actor.
Summary
Screenplay, mimeograph, for the film Personal best (1982), about a group of women training for the American track-and-field team ahead of the 1980 summer Olympics. Written and directed by Robert Towne, the film was produced by the Geffen Film Company, distributed by Warner Brothers, Inc., and featured Mariel Hemingway, Scott Glenn, Patrice Donnelly and Kenny Moore. Accompanied by a press kit including production and cast list, production notes, biographies, studio photographs, and other promotional material.
