Incipit: "Bismillāh al-Raḥmān al-Raḥīm. al-Ḥamdu lillāh wa-salāmun ʻalá ʻibādihi alladhīna iṣṭafá. Qāla al-Shaykh al-ḥāfiẓ Abū ʻĪsá Muḥammad ibn ʻĪsá ibn Sūrah al-Tirmidhī al-muṣannif, raḥimahu Allāh taʻālá: Bāb mā jāʼa fī khalq al-Nabī, ṣallá Allāh ʻalayhi wa-sallam. Akhbaranā Abū Rajāʼ Qutaybah ibn ʻAbd al-Raḥmān Saʻīd ʻan Mālik ibn Anas ʻan Rabīʻah ibn Abī ʻAbd al-Raḥmān ʻan Anas ibn Mālik annahu samiʻahu yaqūlu: Kāna Rasūl Allāh, ṣallá Allāh ʻalayhi wa-sallam, laysa bi-al-ṭawīl al-bāʼin, wa-lā bi-al-qaṣīr, wa-lā bi-al-abyaḍ al-amhaq, wa-lā bi-al-ādam, wa-lā bi-al-jaʻad al-qaṭaṭ, wa-lā bi-al-sabaṭ, baʻathahu Allāh ʻalá raʼs arbaʻīn sanah ..."

البداية: "بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم. الحمد لله وسلام على عباده الذين اصطفى. قال الشيخ الحافظ أبو عيسى محمد بن عيسى بن سورة الترمذي المصنف، رحمه الله تعالى: باب ما جاء في خلق النبي، صلى الله عليه وسلم. أخبرنا أبو رجاء قتيبة بن عبد الرحمن سعيد عن مالك بن أنس عن ربيعة بن أبي عبد الرحمن عن أنس بن مالك أنه سمعه يقول: كان رسول الله، صلى الله عليه وسلم، ليس بالطويل البائن، ولا بالقصير، ولا بالأبيض الأمهق، ولا بالآدم، ولا بالجعد القطط، ولا بالسبط، بعثه الله على رأس أربعين سنة ..."

Colophon: "Wa-kāna al-farāgh min hādhihi al-nuskhah laylat al-Thalāth, thālith shahr Rabīʻ al-awwal, sanat tisʻ wa-arbaʻīn wa-alf min al-Hijrah al-Nabawīyah, ʻalá ṣāḥibihā afḍal al-ṣalāh wa-al-salām, ʻalá yad afqar al-ʻibād ilá al-Malik al-Wahhāb, Muḥammad al-Safjadjī ibn al-Shaykh Aḥmad, ghafara Allāh la-hu wa-li-wālidayhi wa-li-jamīʻ al-Muslimīn. Āmīn. Āmīn. Āmīn. Āmīn."

الخاتمة: "وكان الفراغ من هذه النسخة ليلة الثلاث، ثالث شهر ربع الأول، سنة تسع وأربعين وألف من الهجرة النبوية، على صاحبها أفضل الصلاة والسلام، على يد أفقر العباد إلى الملك الوهاب، محمد السفجدجي بن الشيخ أحمد، غفر الله له ولوالديه ولجميع المسلمين. آمين. آمين. آمين. آمين."

Translation of the colophon: "This copy was completed on Tuesday night, 3 Rabīʻ al-Awwal, 1049 of the Hijrah of the Prophet [4 July, 1639], may the best of prayer and peace be upon him, by the poorest of the servants to the Abundant Giving King, Muḥammad al-Safjadjī ibn al-Shaykh Aḥmad, may God forgive him, his parents and all Muslims. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen."
