Biographical / Historical Note
James A. Brancroft (1834-1923) was a surveyor based in Reading, Massachusetts.
Frank John Dixie Barnjum (1858-1933) was a Canadian lumber merchant and politician. Born in Montreal, Canada, Barnjum owned land in Canada and the United States, and resided in Boston and Lynnfield, Massachusetts and Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia.
Summary
Undated printed copy on acetate of a cadastral map dated 1890 January 23 by James A. Bancroft. Map shows the 176 lots comprising the Lakefield Park residential development on land belonging to Frank J. D. Barnjum, in Lynnfield Centre, Essex County, Massachusetts, bordered by the mill pond Pillings Pond to the northeast and Summer Street to the south.
