Summary
Norwegian documentary. Mari Boine was a quiet girl who learned that yoik was sin and Sami inferior. When she discovered his people's history, she felt rage and became a powerhouse when she made songs which achieved international recognition. In Porsanger, Jokkmokk and Helsinki, we experience the enormous change in the view of Sami culture.
