Summary
In chapter 23 of The Prince, Machiavelli cautions rulers against falling prey to flattery, advising them to trust only wise and honest counsel. This program addresses the need for leaders to separate flattery from truthful assessments, with a special look at critiques of art and artists. With product designer Philippe Starck, who tries to avoid the influence and opinions of mainstream culture and who thinks little of those who call him a genius, and Jørgen Vig Knudstorp, Philip Kotler, Nicolas Winding Refn, Dr. Ulrich Bez, Pat Boone, and Steven Hilton.
